On August 6, in the final of the women’s eight rowing event, WHSU students Wang Zifeng and Xia Keke, accompanied by their teammates, embraced the rainy conditions as they embarked on the race. Their unyielding tenacity and dedicated effort were evident throughout the competition. In the final 200 meters of the sprint stage, they retained a dominant advantage with two strokes, ultimately securing the championship by finishing in 6 minutes and 25.03 seconds.
